Our Story
Takigawa Eiji, the founder of Tokyo Karate Club, is the sensei of Sugaya Mai, founder of this school. Mai has studied at TKC under Takigawa sensei for over 10 years, embodying "Karate for enriched lives."
Takigawa sensei has branches in Sri Lanka and Germany, and Mai established this school to ensure that children in developing countries like Sri Lanka can continue learning karate, and to promote Takigawa-style karate worldwide.
